Rivets used to combine multiple materials in a strong and economical way are often referred to as "blind rivets", as you can perform the assembly process without having to see the back of the material. These powerful and economical fasteners, which are used in many fields from the automotive industry to the energy sector, are produced in different sizes, materials and shapes according to the area they will be used and the load they will carry.
It is a fastener used to combine materials with bolts that are thin enough to open teeth. The teeth of the nut rivet work like a nut welded to the material to which it is applied. Using a Nut Rivet, you can also make the materials that you cannot reach the back of the nut with nuts.

When the rivet is tightened, the rivet is formed in a spherical shape on the back of the joined part, providing the join.
On the back of the joined part, the rivet takes a 2-3 muffled shape and is combined. The tightening range is wide rivets.
When the rivet is tightened, a closed surface is formed on the back of the joined part, which interrupts the contact of air and liquid.

The back of the joined part is divided into 4 parts, providing joining. The remaining part at the back is preferred if it is a fragile/soft material.
When the rivet is tightened, the join is provided by taking the shape of a flake on the back of the joined part. Sealed bulb rivets have a sealed feature.

We also produce our standard pop rivet products with a counterhead and a wide head.
Wide head rivets, the material on the front of the parts to be assembled, such as wood and plastic, can be preferred if it is a softer material than metal.
It can be used to achieve a flat surface after application.
The ideal rivet length selection to be used in your project is obtained by calculating the thickness of the material to be squeezed and the sum of the rivet diameter you will use.
For example, if you want to use Material thickness to be combined = a = 10mm
Rivet diameter = b = 4.8mm
Rivet length = a + b = 10mm + 4.8mm = 14.8mm
∴ You need to choose a rivet with a length of at least 15mm.
Note: When measuring the length of the rivet, the head and nail are not taken into account.
In octopus rivets, this calculation is made by multiplying the rivet diameter by 2 (two).
For example, if you want to use Material thickness to be combined = a = 10mm
Rivet diameter = b = 4.8mm
Rivet length = a + (2 x b) = 10mm + 9.6mm = 19.6mm
∴ You need to choose a product that is at least 20mm long.

For an ideal connection process, the hole diameter in your material is as important as the quality of the rivet you use. An oversized hole can cause your anchor point to be weak or, in the long run, the rivet to break. When we started to produce pop rivets in Turkey, the market was dominated by products made of pipes. A standard capsule is made of aluminum wire filled with special alloys. Special automatic cold form machines cut filled aluminum wire of appropriate length; by hitting the cut aluminum wire part with great pressure, pushing the material inside the wire to the outside by plastering it into a hat (flander). The nail is also made of special alloy steel wire.
After the produced body and nail are cleaned from the oils and undergo special surface treatments, they are combined in fully automatic joining machines.
The poor quality pop rivet is produced by cutting non-alloy aluminum pipes instead of filled aluminum wire and curling the head with a simple press. That's why the hat parts are irregular. There is no angle of 90 at the junction of the hat part with the body. The robust and long-lasting of the joining process depends on the alloy of the aluminum used and the strength of the plastering style production.

The LPR Series has a wider head over PR Serin, ensuring that the merged material is fixed from a solid and wide area for the front as well as the rear. The merged material is exposed to a less erronethane per unit area than the PR series, and a more robust join is provided.
